Bonnie Lee Grainer

Bonnie Lee Grainger

Bonnie was a single parent mother of two children,  Each of her children have very successful careers and are responsible porductive adults. One is a respiratory therapist and one is an astro-physicist.
Bonnie has a double Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona in Family Studies & Human Development and the 2nd is Bachelor of Sciennce in Consumer Sciences.  She taught the Teenage Parent Program at Tucson Unified School District and retired from the TUSD.

Bonnie was also a Program Coordinator for The Arts and Humanities U of A non-credit program.  She also worked with the program for Homemakers Looking for Employment which helped recently single or release women from prison to find a career and become self-supporting members of society.

All of her work has been centered around helping young and less fortunate women to find a career path and become independent and self supporting members of our societ

Scott Grainger

Scott is the father of two children, each of them has a very successful career and are responsible and productive adults.  One is marketing executive in a large printing company and the other is a supply side marketing and design engineer for a large computer hardware company, owns a consulting engineering firm and specializes in forensic engineering and fire protection engineering.  Much of Scott's career had been involved with the construction and the individuals that build buildings and infrastructure.

Scott has been a long-time supporter ( judge) at science and engineering fairs - local events, State events and international events.  He has also been a guest speaker at many schools, talking about careers in engineering and science.

Together

 Bonnie and Scott were married in 2016. One of their goals together is to provide support for young people and others that are disadvantaged to find and through training become a productive member of our society. The grand program that is envisioned in WSG Foundation, Inc. is the vehicle that they have created to advance their goal of helping others to help themselves. The program as they envision it will provide financial and personal support theough a system that includeds opportunities for grantees to experience first hand what it may be like to work in their area of interest. The program will find summer and holiday work opportunities. The program will provide personal support in helping the grantees to learn how to improve their self-image. The program will expose the parents of the grantees to opportunities to improve their child's ability to qualify for other scholarships and grants. The goal is for each grantee to become an independent and self-supporting member of society. WSA Foundation, Inc. will become a self-sustaining organization and is structured to continue in thes manner in perpetuity.
